Our customers include numerous well-known groups and medium-sized companies. DREWES Shipping is structured into the business units Shipbroking, Operating and Port Agency Services.
SHIPBROKING
DREWES Shipping serves as a shipbroker in the bulk and break bulk segments. Ranging from handy to capesize shipments, the company has special expertise in the transport of iron ore, coal, grain, wood pellets, steel, aluminium and scrap metal. Freight contracts vary from short-term spot to long-term timecharters. Additional services include market analysis and consultancy.
OPERATING
PORT AGENCY SERVICES
DREWES Shipping serves as an owners‘ as well as a charterers‘ agent in the German and South African loading and discharging ports.
The following services are offered:
- Clearance of in- and outgoing vessels in coordination with authorities and other involved parties
- Ordering and coordination of tug-operators, pilots, moorers, etc.
- Coordination and documentation of cargo operations
- Delivery of ship provisions (particularly food, spare parts, etc.)
- Crew support
- Waste disposal
