In addition to its own new branch in Austria, DREWES Logistics has now also established a new location in Savannah/USA, thus continuing its expansion course.

"This region has been very interesting for us for a long time because of its high volume of cargo for mechanical and plant engineering," says Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Patric Drewes, explaining the choice of location. "This applies both inbound and outbound."

In addition to project cargo, DREWES Logistics will also take care of the container and breakbulk business from Savannah. The branch will be managed by Lisa Beerens (photo), who previously worked in the "Business Development & Projects" department at the DREWES headquarters in Bremen.

"The market for project logistics is very robust and attractive for us, which is why we are investing in our market presence," explains Drewes and announces: "We are already planning the next two overseas locations, which will bring our network to 11 branches.”
